Description | Semi-lunar shaped wooden container with attached lid; both sides of box and lid have same carvings of interlocking diamond shapes, made up of a series of parallel lines; phila (sun) pattern with protruding conical shape knob in center of lid; directly above this is a hole in the rim, a second hole is found below on base of box, two strands of twisted plant fiber are found through these two holes; interior of box has a red hue; exterior of box is dark brown in color. |
