Description | Glazed ceramic. (See card for drawing.) Mustard glaze on reddish clay. Black brush work to indicate calligraphy as embellishment; pointed stick or brush tip used to outline calligraphy. Warm brown glaze for added color. Mustard glaze on exterior of bowl. Reddish clay, overpainted with ochre, brown, and black, over scratched oval design and calligraphy. |
