Description

Red cotton. Three widths sewn together. Couched-on embroidery in white silk in horizontal bands of diagonally broke vertical stripes. The stripes paired by a narrow band of X's between dashes. Narrow gold silk border on both long edges, and wide band of couched-on gold silk at each end in diagonal quadruple herringbone motifs.
