Description | Cotton belt. Warp faced. Fuchsia with narrow blue border stripe. Red weft. Widely spaced brocaded motifs in multicolor cotton and wool of stylized people, animal and geometric designs. Braided fringe. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 128 epi, two ply, magenta and blue cotton. Weft: 16 ppi, multiple strand, Z twist, orange cotton. Warp faced plain weave. Supplementary weft is two faced. Woven on a backstrap loom." |
