Description | Hair band. "Rose" motif. Blue ground with blue, orange, green, magenta, yellow, purple, red and white geometric forms. Two tasseled fringes. Aniline dyes used. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 48 epi, two strands, two ply, blue and white cotton. Weft: 22 ppi, two strands, two ply, blue cotton. Warp faced plain weave. Supplementary weft is double faced. Woven on a backstrap loom." |
