Description | PBS XIV: A Gilgamesh in front face, with outstretched arms, protects two bulls from the attack of a lion. A second hunter -- Eabani (?) -- seizes the lion by the tail and neck. There is a branch in the field. Cyl. seal much worn. Shell, 23 1/2 x 11 1/2 mm. |
