Description | Carved spoon made from one piece of mountain goat horn. The bowl is deeply concave and transitions from a lighter color toward the front of the spoon to a darker color toward the handle. Two figures are carved into the handle and have residue in their eyes where abalone shell was likely once inlaid. The lower figure has large eyes and a closed mouth with thick lips. A smaller head is carved toward the end of the handle. |
