Pear-shaped body, swollen neck, two vertical loop handles on shoulder, red clay painted with white stripes

Narrow-necked jar/bottle with a globular body, cylindrical neck, rounded rim, 2 strap handles on the body, and a flat base. No molded/modeled additions. The vessel has a red slip and lines painted in white down the body and around the handles. There appears to be a smoothed finish on the exterior. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is orange in color. Fireclouding is present on the body. The catalogue number is written on the object in black ink on the bottom of the base. Black ink on the bottom of the base reads: "2859."
