Description | Dark, fine grained rock with concoidal fracture. Contains many small, light inclusions and is either of chert or of volcanic inclusion. Probably asymmetrical. The distal and proximal edges are arcuate. The end is pointed. Both surfaces are flaked. One of the surfaces has a large flake removed, which terminates in a hinge fracture. The distal edge has slightly finer retouch than does the proximal edge. Broken perpendicular to the longitudinal axis, so that less than one half of the blade remains. |
