Description | Flaked point of black obsidian. Triangular body with large tang. Point broken off. Tanged with broken off end. Partially translucent with parallel non-translucent streaks. 29-183-31 is one of many stemmed points in the collection. Stemmed points or arrowheads appear in sites from the Late Paleolithic to Yayoi Period. Without context arrowheads such as these can only be assigned a broad date range. |
