Description | Woven with maroon, white, and green cotton twine. Borders of belt are edged with white and decorated with bands of maroon and green. These bands run the length of the belt on both sides. Bands flank center design of horizontal maroon and white stripes on one side. Other side of belt has same central stripe design which is overlaid with solid blocks and triangles of maroon twine. Belt is fringed at both ends- the twine ends are twisted into cords and knotted at the ends. Belt was made in 1960 by Elta Cahn. |
