Rough, painted with serpentine lines in relief on neck and shoulder and boss on shoulder below serpents. Two vertical loop handles on shoulder

Wide mouthed vessel with a globular body, bulging collar, rounded rim, 2 strap handles on the body, and a flat base. The vessel is red slipped with white painted geometric decoration on the raised snakes and on the handles. There are four raised snakes, two on the neck, and two on the body. The body has raised bosses pressed from the interior outwards. There appears to be a smoothed finish on the exterior and a smoothed finish on the interior. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is orange in color. The catalogue number is written on the object in black ink on the bottom of the base.
