Description | Flaring side. Spruce root; 2-strand twining with design in false embroidery. Design: goose track and half head of salmonberry. Technical notes: twined, close twined, two-strand, three-strand, in-between weave (with plain), wrapped weft ("false embroidery"); 12 warps and 18 wefts per square inch. Navajo designs; not a traditional Tlingit design; made for sale. |
