Description | Ceramic unglazed Buddha head broken at the neck. Back side has a concave opening with white plaster (?) filling into which a metal hook has been set. Prominently broad forehead.Tall pointed usnisa with hud like top. Narrow band around hair. Mustache. Small circular impression for urna. Eyebrows joined. Double lines defining lips. Probably 10th century. |
