| Description | Small parchment prayer book with wooden covers and leather carrying case, only 1/3 of the front cover is present, the two pieces of wood are sewn together with twins, the prayers are in red and black script, but the pages immediately inside the two covers have pencilled script as well, the case is of leather which is stitched along the sides with cotton twine, there is a short knotted carrying strap which is in extremely poor condition; Book Title Unknown; Amharic; Pages: 31 folios or 62 pages, single column, 14 lines per page; red and black ink. |
