Description

Bowl of thymiaterion. Preserved: top of stem, bowl proper, and two sections of horizontally projecting rim. Rim is flat on top, with a low "curb" at outer edge. The outside of the "curb" is decorated with two wheel-run grooves. The glaze is largely reddish-brown, though blackened (from accidental fire?) over about a quarter of the exterior.
