Description | Woman's hood. Cf. 29-50-281. Design is a variant of 29-50-286. There are, on one side, two longitudinal rows of rhoms and chevrons divided by a central zone which shows a faultily executed zigzag line of knots; on the other side, two longitudinal rows of opposed chevrons. Each edge of the front of the hood and the seam at the back is trimmed with splints of cane to which feathers are lashed. |
