Description | Export "byokin" black lacquered wooden chest with metal lock/clasp, two hinges and two handles, most likely a tea caddy. Top and sides have intricate landscape scenes in gold with touches of red and green. Landscapes include many figures, buildings and boats. A band of dragons frames the scene on the top of the trunk. Lockplate marked PATHNT. |
