Description | Fine, loosely woven cotton muslin turban tie-dyed with a wrap-resist technique called lahariya. The lahariya technique is performed by rangaris (professional dyers). Checkered pattern is called mothara. Very loosely woven cotton. Tie dye. Narrow red and white stripes forming two lengthwise bands of chevrons. Red border at end. Selvege on one long side. |
