Description | At top, a face with jutting forehead, from which depends a straight free-standing nose. Round eyes cut through, incised arc for a mouth. Below, four pairs of projections (like cleats), rows of carved chevrons down sides, crocodile head at bottom. Black, yellow, white, red pigments: white yellow and red stripes on "cleats", carved chevrons yellow, red, white, lines of white dots around eyes and nose, down sides of face, in circles on forehead. |
