Description

Shadow puppet cut from hide and mounted on a wooden stick, with sticks attached to hands to manipulate articulated arms. Face and rest of skin painted black, narrow eye, straight nose. Crown, ear ornament, black curly hair. Upper arm ornaments, bracelets. Neck ornament. Nose bent and cracking. Character is Narayana, son of Basudewa, guide and advisor to the Pandawa.
