Description | Compare figs. 10, 12, 13, pl. XLII in Redd, Negritos of Zambales. The iron point of this arrow is rather broader. The Insertion of the tanged point in the shaft is reinforced with a binding of plant cuticle, smeared with resinous substance. The feathering (3) is tangential , and the nock rectangular (cf. 29-58-63) and the feathers are caught at both ends under a binding of plant cuticles. The shaft above the nock is enclosed in a sleeve of soft hide. |
