Description

Warp: \ wool; ud.

Weft: \ wool; dark-blue and red, dark-blue and a-little-red, purple.

Technique: Tapestry over one warp. Wide clavi bands on a natural wool coat. There are narrow bands on the edges which look much bluer but the colors spun together are the same, the proportion is different. A. Wide clavi bands and fringe. B. Wide calvi bands. C. Wide clavi bands and a stylized plant form of purple, and fringe. D. Fragment of clavus band.
