Description

Bark cloth skirt (topi'). Heavy dark brown barkcloth, pleated, with two tiers. White cotton waistband (hidden under first tier). Also four narrow strips of the same barkcloth (remnants from cutting of skirt). From nunu lewue (Ficus annulata) (see samples 87-8-26/27).
