Description | Flat bottom with flaring sides, round top.; plaited, ash. Rim: bound with splint hoops. Two small loop handles carved from splints and notched to fasten under rim hoop. Bottom splints are of equal width, horizontal splints on sides are very narrow with one broad green one below rim. Below broad one are 3 narrow yellow horizontals, towards bottom is a band of 3 green and 3 yellow horizontals. Colors may be painted and not dyed; look like water-colors. |
