Description

Complete pottery jar, buff, burnished. Rim everted and decorated at edge with red band and band of dots on inner surface. Neck undecorated. Body decorated above greatest diamter with red brown painted design of 2 sets of 2 horizontal annular bands filled with vertical lines. Below these is a band of inverted triangles the corners of whose bases connect to the lower band of the pattern above and whose tips form lines joining the top band of the pattern below which is the same as that above the triangles although there is only one band instead of two. Ring base.
