Description | Three dimensional puppet with wooden torso, wooden head, wooden arms, articulated at shoulder and elbows, cotton skirt from waist down. Puppet is held and operated by a wooden stick which passes through a hole in the torso and into the base of the head and by sticks attached to the hands. Face pink, rest of skin gold. Bulging round blue eyes, hooked nose, two fangs. Black hair in curls at sides and curving to top of head. Headdress with crown, ear ornaments, and garuda mungkur. Red and blue ornaments at upper arms and wrists. Wrists flexed. Short blue velvet chest cover. |
