Description | Lip is a separate element from the wall, set off from it by a distant wheel-run groove. It is 0.03 m. high, concave in profile and decorated with rather heavy lattice pattern in black glaze. Onwall are preserved a 4-line compass drawn group of concentric circles with a band of lattice pattern on either side. Interior is fully glazed. Top of lip glazed except for a reserved band. Hard, pinkish clay with light blue core. |
