Description

Carved human dance figure. Wearing grass skirt. Standing on cylindrical pedestal, which is upraised on a circular frame. Hair of black feathers. Eyes of cut shell with a small patch of black paper nailed into head. Red mouth, and "beard" of small (5mm.) wooden sticks in a single row around chin. Body painted white and blue, with arms made of two separate jointed pieces of wood. Grass skirt painted in patches with red and blue.
