Description | PBS XIV: Two winged scorpionmen facing each other. They have a conical horned (?) mitre, long beard and hair, bird legs and a sting at the end of their tail arising above the wings. The reverse has a crescent and a six pointed star. Cyl. seal of green glazed pottery, 18 ½ x 10 mm. Nippur, 1895. |
