Description

Vermeule: Carnelian. Cameo. (Modern Silver Ring Setting) Flanked by 4 diamonds. Head of Medusa facing. She is represented in the archaistic flat style which was popular as the ornament of the upper part of Roman cuirasses in the Ist and IInd centuries A.D. Graeco-Roman.
