Description | "Stone grinder or pounder. "pounded with." Used for grinding or pounding hexlor or bark in medicine making. Also for grinding nut meat (butternut and walnut) on stone table to make oil. Held in two hands and ground by end rubbing and anvil stone. Found in field on reservation." |
