Description | mold for human head Small mold with the impression of a face including nose, ears, eyes, mouth, and head band. There is the impression of a face in the mold. The vessel was likely fired in an oxidizing atmosphere as the ceramic paste is orange in color. The catalogue number is written in black ink. Black ink on the outside of the mold reads: "1787." |
