Description | Fairly heavy, light brown wood. Tapering from bottom (which has been cut off) up to top which is carved into a crude beak (?) with protruding tongue (?). Seven crudely carved heads (in the round) are spaced up the staff in graduated size. Heads are very much alike, eyes, blunt nose and grinning mouth are carved on all. Use unknown. |
