Description | Fine, loosely woven cotton muslin turban tie-dyed with a wrap-resist technique called lahariya in red, yellow, green, and black with exposed white sections. The lahariya technique is performed by rangaris (professional dyers). Checkered pattern is called mothara. Red with yellow dots more or less forming double row of chevrons and with four chevron stripes of yellow, white, black, red and green. Sheer cotton. |
