Description | Wooden. The slight curve combined with the taper and the treatment of the mouthpiece suggests that imitation of an ivory trumpet is intended. The partial plaiting of the thong wrapping and the attachment of the thong loop for suspension as well as the form of the raised area surrounding the mouthpiece-hole suggest a relationship to the wooden horn in Ankerman, Fig. 90 (Bashilange). |
