Description | Point of hard brown palm wood, triangular in section, with fine notch-barbs on each of two angles, bound to cane shaft. Peru-pitch-feathering type: two narrow strips of quill with attached barbs laid parallel on the shaft and bound spirally by fibre, covered with pitch. No notch but end bound by broad ring of bark fibre wrapping. |
