Description

White plain weave cotton. Three breadths. Silk, cotton and wool embroidery. Stylized plant, animal and geometrics [chevrons, triangles, stripes] in turquoise, deep blue, purple, shocking pink, yellow, light green and red. Pink silk applique around neck and as neck binding. Turquoise and purple embroidery on applique.

As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp central panel: 68 epi, two singles, Z twist, white cotton. Weft central panel: 20 ppi, three singles, Z twist, white cotton. Central panel is warp faced plain weave. Supplementary weft is single faced. Warp side panels: 66 epi, two singles, Z twist, white cotton. Weft side panels: 28 ppi, three singles, Z twist, white cotton. Side panels are warp faced plain weave. Three panels, four selvedges each. Woven on a backstrap loom."
