Description | Fairly hard, medium brown wood. Curving equilateral sides coming to a point at both ends. There is a band of rather crude engraving of continuous curvilinear elements along both the outer sides. A projecting faces in two dimensions, rather crudely carved, is approximately in the middle of the back. Crude carving, absence of paint and type of wood suggest this may be Mimika rather than Asmat. |
