Description | Net lekythos. Thin ring foot, rounded profile. Gently rounded ovoid body, truncated above and below. Constructed neck, flaring lip. Thickened strap handle attached on shoulder and at base of lip. Net pattern coveres body, formed by closely spaced glazr lines in a lattice pattern and by six rows of closely spaced white dots. Glaze on lip and handle only. Intact. Light brown clay, only slightly lustrous black glazr. Probably non-Attic Greek. |
