Description | An earthware water jug used for storage. The jug is squat with a heavy rim and a flat base. It has four rows of tiny triangular designs around the top portion. The jug was made through paddeling with a wood paddle and a clay potter's anvil. This was made by a Phu Thai Group (ผู้ไท/ภูไท) (Sakon Na Khon). Black marks are from an outdoor firing process (there is no soot present). |
