Description | Grass; round; flat bottom; flaring sides. Bottom started with plaiting going into plain twining; sides in wrapped twining; edge braided. Decoration: dyed grass- band of purplish- brown and red at top and bottom with band of purplish-brown and rust in middle; all color stitches skip every other warp. Red stitching around bottom row on sides. Dyes probably aniline. |
