Description | Made for the Mamluk Sultan of Egypt, Al-Ashraf Qait Bay. Selected sayings of Mohammed-The Prophet. Written in Naskhi, black and red ink. 12 lines to a page. Richly decorated. Four unwans. Old brown leather binding. Well ornamented. Contents: Two Moslem prayers of the great Islamic theologian Mohammed ben Zain al-Arab Sharafshah al-Husaini.
