Description | War club carved in modified spatulate form with striking tip pointed on one side to form animal snout; one side of blade flattened to form top of animal head, notched between eye and snout. Nostril, eye, and mouth incised; two double-leaf designs incised between mouth and grip. Eye, leaf designs, and around mouth, handletip, and undersurface, painted red. Sinew cord wrapped around grip; quills held between wrapping and undersurface of club. |
