Description | Oval mask, convex and concave. Convex forehead, jutting brow about half way down. Oval eyes, cut through, hooked nose, curved under at end. Mouth a very small oval, cut through. Small ears each side of eyes, each pierced with two small holes. Protuberances around edge, notched in bottom half, along jaw line. Reddish-brown pigment/stain, with black on ridge around eye area and bright yellow dots and curvilinear designs around mouth, around eyes, at top of head. Holes at sides, through which is threaded fiber holding a wooden bar across the back of the mask. |
