Description

Consists of one half of calabash decorated interior and exterior; designs carved in low relief, raised areas painted in brilliant, shiny black; incised designs on raised yellow areas but filled in with same yellow; designs mostly floral and cover all of rounded area. Geometric fret design at rim surrounded by two horizontal bands, all raised and yellow; one hole (c. . 04d) about H. 10cm. D. 16. lx 16.8 cm. 1 cm below rim see 64-7-1 Wall th. . 03 cm.
