Description | Irregular shaft of light brown wood; fore-end shaped into flattened point with two-small lateral barbs, coated with poison (black gum); nock end cut deeply, part covered by spiral raffis wrapping over tips of two flat-mounted complete feathers; wrapping continues beneath the feathers in a loose spiral, then closely again over their roots. |
