Description | Cotton, red, white, blue-white narrow jaspe stripes with wide center stripe. Cotton brocade. Continuous zigzag motif alternating with each change of direction except first. Maroon, orange, green, white, purple. As per Sigrid Meier, "Warp: 50 epi, 3 singles, Z twist, red and blue cotton. 2 singles, Z twist, white and indigo ikat cotton. Weft: 14 ppi, 3 singles, Z twist, red cotton. Warp faced plain weave. Supplemental weft - single faced. 1 panel - 3 selvedges. Made on a backstrap loom." |
