Description

Wooden sword edged with sharks' teeth. Blade mostly straight but very slightly curving towards end. Handle with rectangular cross-section, flattening and bending at end. Teeth set in grooves along edges of blade and stabilized between pairs of coconut leaflet ribs; pierced through bases for individual coconut fiber lashings which pass through holes on edges of blade. Originally 27 pairs of teeth, six teeth now missing.
