Description

Sommerville: Agate. Abraxas Intaglio Ring, with the sun, moon, stars, and inscription. A Cabalistic talisman of the third century. Abraxas, Gnostic Gems, Etc, Case HH.

Vermeule: Agate. Intaglio. (Modern silver ring setting) Ten figures in various gestures of adoration around a star and the Greek letters. (reversed). Graeco-Roman, probably with "Gnostic" significance.
